Our Aim
WHISH is a parent led support group, whose aim is to give families positive experiences & support in living with hidden Impairments. Hidden Impairments include Autism, Dyspraxia, Epilepsy, ADHD & many others.
We offer a wide range of activities for children, including swimming, games, riding, social groups and many others. Most of our activities are free and the whole family is welcome at all events.
Parents' Support
For parents, we have a range of activities including regular coffee mornings, drop-in sessions as well as sign language training & art therapy. Most of our activities are free and the whole family is welcome at all events.
Multi-sensory Centre
The WHISH Multi-sensory centre is available for use by the whole community in the Whitby area, individuals and groups.
