Our Members say...

“I always have the option to call in for a chat & a coffee, on bad days it can be the difference between crying & surviving.”

“Every family at WHISH has their own quirks & problems so we can relax, because we are “all in the same boat” without having to worry about what others might think.”

“WHISH has supported us hugely and we are happy to support them in any way we can, it’s not just a charity it’s a community.”

“I don’t feel judged around WHISH families so feel more confident.”

“WHISH is like a family to us.”

“There is always someone here to listen.”

We run various parent support sessions each month, at the WHISH Hub and other venues. We do them on different days of the week, and occasional evenings so that there are a range of opportunities for chat, help and support.

Our parent support sessions are friendly and informal small groups. You can also have a one to one support session with an experienced WHISH member. Please contact the WHISH Hub to arrange an appointment.

Please look at the monthly activities list for details of days, times and venues
